Synopsis

Chen Ji, a talented young man stuck in a psychiatric hospital, kills the person responsible for his parents' death—then gets pulled back in time to an ancient world. He ends up working at a medical clinic during the Ning Dynasty and stumbles into a case that gets him tangled up with the Secret Service. They recruit him as an unofficial agent, but there's a catch: he's also secretly working as a spy for an enemy nation. The whole story plays out around this double life. Trapped in deadly political games, Chen Ji has to fight to stay alive. He uses his modern knowledge to break down and understand the world's spiritual cultivation systems, carefully playing both sides against each other. Over time he goes from being a pawn to actually holding power. He claims the Qingshan Mountains as his weapon and declares war on heaven's lies.
