It's 1930 in Boston, and cousins Montana Jones and Alfred Jones—a professor—are globe-trotting treasure hunters determined to get their finds into museums. Alfred's mentor, Professor Gerrit, helps out by mailing them records with tips and intel. While on their adventures, they team up with Melissa, a wealthy reporter who happens to be fluent in basically every language. She becomes a regular member of their crew. Their main problem is Lord Zero, an eccentric rich guy obsessed with art who's also an accomplished thief. He's got two thugs working for him: Slim and Slam. Then there's Dr. Nitro, an inventor who cranks out bizarre machines specifically designed to help track down treasures—which the gang sometimes uses to their advantage.
