Synopsis

A Toei Animation production with a screenplay by Osamu Tezuka and novelist Morio Kita, this film follows Sinbad and a boy named Ali as stowaways aboard the merchant ship Boulder. After winning over the captain, they earn their places on the crew. Things get complicated when Princess Samir sneaks aboard to flee a corrupt minister bent on forcing her to marry him. Sinbad takes it upon himself to protect her, kicking off a series of adventures packed with dramatic set pieces drawn from the classic tales—including a brutal fight against a bizarre bird guarding a diamond hoard.
