Synopsis

Japan collapsed after the Great Tokyo War and fractured into ten separate nations, each run by a gang under a "Best"—a self-proclaimed prophet wielding destructive supernatural powers. Nozomi Moritomo is just a regular girl, a rookie in her local gang, who dreams of supporting her childhood friend and idol Masami Utoku in the ongoing turf wars. Everything changes when Masami gets seriously hurt and can't fight anymore. Nozomi takes it upon herself to handle the job requests that come in for Masami from across Japan. On this journey, she teams up with Yukina Kosaka, a directionally-challenged introvert; Ai Hibiki, an enthusiastic girl with a serious appetite; and Chiaya Misono, a mysterious, quiet type who never takes off her gas mask. The four of them travel the country on their bikes, getting pulled into territorial disputes, conflicts, and increasingly shady conspiracies along the way.
