Synopsis

These early stories follow Lina Inverse and Naga the Serpent before they became rivals—actually showing how they first met. In their opening adventure, the two encounter each other while dealing with a vampire during a rescue mission. After that, Lina takes a lucrative job as bodyguard for a rich man's daughter named Sirene. She's thrilled about the pay at first, but Sirene quickly burns through the first half of it. To teach her a lesson, Lina stages a fake kidnapping—except Sirene then actually gets abducted for real. That forces Lina and Naga to work together to save her. The final episode throws them onto opposite sides of a fashion war.
