Planet Beal was destroyed by Gaizok, a mysterious and powerful entity. A handful of survivors managed to escape to Earth, where they formed three families: the Jins, the Kamies, and the Kamikitas. Settling on their new world, these families knew it was only a matter of time before Gaizok followed them—and when it did, it would bring an army of giant mechanical beasts called Mecha Boosts. To prepare for the inevitable invasion, the three families built three separate vehicles that could combine into a single powerful robot: Zambot 3. But defending Earth from Gaizok turned out to be only half the battle. The people they were trying to save blamed the Jin Family for bringing the threat to their planet in the first place, making their mission not just a physical one, but an emotional and social one as well.
