Pokemon Movie 20: Kimi ni Kimeta!
Satoshi oversleeps on his tenth birthday and ends up with Pikachu instead of the starter Pokémon he actually wanted. They don't hit it off at first, but eventually become real partners. When they spot the Legendary Houou flying overhead, they decide to track it down—armed with nothing but a Rainbow Wing it dropped behind. Makoto and Souji tag along for the adventure. Satoshi picks up an abandoned Hitokage, raises a Caterpie all the way to Butterfree before letting it go its own way, and crosses paths with the mysterious Mythical Pokémon Marshadow. As they get closer to their goal, they run into Cross—Hitokage's old Trainer and a total jerk—who's determined to stop them. It comes down to a final showdown: can Satoshi and Pikachu beat him and finally reach Houou, or does their journey end here?
