Synopsis

Fifty years ago, a giant of light called Ultraman saved Earth before disappearing without a trace. His human host, Shin Hayata, lost all memory of those heroic years. Years later, Hayata's son Shinjirou turns out to be something unique—born with a body far tougher and stronger than any normal human. When the SSSP, the organization that once backed Ultraman, reveals the truth to Hayata, he decides to suit up again and become Ultraman once more. Everything changes the night an alien called Bemular attacks Shinjirou. His father jumps in to save him but takes a brutal beating in the process. With dangerous aliens now prowling the city and Hayata badly wounded, Shinjirou has to step into his father's role as the new Ultraman. As he works alongside the SSSP, though, he starts questioning just how far he's actually willing to go in the name of protecting people.
