Synopsis

A girl with pigtails lives alone in a run-down house in the middle of nowhere. She doesn't seem bothered by the isolation, though every now and then masked strangers show up from god-knows-where. Her real companions are the objects around her—furniture, walls, whatever—and they're all watching her, remembering things, having their own perspective on her life and this endless, unchanging place. She has no idea they're conscious. Then one day a visitor arrives and offers her a choice that could change everything—not just for her, but for a lot of people.
