Synopsis

Narumi Momose oversleeps through four alarms and barely makes it to her first day at a new job. Her main goal: keep her coworkers from finding out she's an otaku and a fujoshi. That plan falls apart immediately when she literally runs into Hirotaka Nifuji, an old friend from middle school. She tries damage control by suggesting drinks after work, but he casually asks if she's going to Summer Comiket—and her secret's out. The good news? The only people who overheard, Hanako and Tarou, are otaku too. That night, Narumi and Hirotaka grab drinks to catch up properly. When she vents about her ex breaking up with her specifically because she was a fujoshi, Hirotaka has a simple solution: date another otaku. Like him. He promises to always have her back, support her interests, and help her farm for rare drops in Monster Hunter. It's such a surprisingly sincere offer that Narumi says yes on the spot. And that's how two awkward otaku end up in a relationship together—which turns out to be weirdly adorable.
