Memoru is one of 245 tiny aliens from the Riruru Star who crash-landed on Earth. She's small enough to fit in the palm of a human hand. One day, drawn by beautiful piano music, she discovers a large house she'd never noticed before and meets Marielle, a girl playing inside. Memoru secretly brings her friends Popitu, Rupangu, and Pi to see Marielle again, but they find her gravely ill. Moved by the girl's condition, Memoru cries—and her tears somehow heal Marielle. The two form a close bond after that.
