Synopsis

Ryouta Sakamoto is a jobless guy living with his mom—his only claim to fame being that he's Japan's best Btooom! player online. That changes fast when he wakes up stranded on some random island with a glowing green crystal jammed in his left hand and zero memory of how he got there. Turns out someone's decided to turn his favorite game into a real-life death match. The setup is brutal: players are handed bags of bombs called BIM and told they need to kill seven other participants, steal their crystals, and get out alive. Ryouta's initially against hurting anyone, but he quickly learns that most of the other players don't share his pacifist values. He teams up with Himiko, another Btooom! fan, and together they try to escape the island while slowly uncovering what's actually going on behind this whole twisted game.
