Synopsis

Kitajima Maya is a talented young actress who catches the eye of the reclusive veteran Tsukikage. The series follows Maya as she grows up, trains relentlessly, and overcomes obstacle after obstacle to become her generation's greatest actress—now in her early twenties. Her main rival is Himekawa Ayumi, a beautiful actress whose parents are both famous in the industry. The two eventually compete for the coveted "Crimson Goddess" role. Running parallel to all this is Maya's complicated relationship with Hayami Masumi, a ruthless entertainment executive who's secretly become her biggest fan. But between misunderstandings and bad timing, their romance keeps getting derailed.
