Synopsis

Aurora Village sits high in the frozen mountains, but things are warming up—the snow's melting. The Ham-Hams living there believe Bijou is their Snow White Princess, someone who can pray for snow to return. They send Crystal, a snow fairy hamster, to bring Bijou to their village. Crystal finds Bijou and brings her back, with the other Ham-Hams following along. But there's a problem: pirate hamsters are sailing overhead in a flying ship. The captain, Hamstern, spots Bijou and captures her because he doesn't want her praying for snow to come back. While held captive, Bijou stays surprisingly calm and even cooks delicious food for the pirates. When Hamtaro and the Ham-Hams sneak aboard to rescue her, Hamtaro finds out what Hamstern's done and loses it. He's determined to get Bijou home no matter what. So Hamstern and Hamtaro end up competing in the Grand Prix—a series of races in different vehicles, like racing cars. The stakes are high: if Hamstern wins, he takes Bijou back to his ship. If Hamtaro wins, Bijou gets to pray for the snow and return to her friends.
