Synopsis

Moomin (Anime Series) This anime draws loose inspiration from Tove Jansson's Finnish Moomin books, though Jansson herself wasn't a fan. The show made major changes to the plot, tone, character personalities, designs, and even names—so much so that it barely resembles the source material. Plus, it was aimed at adults rather than kids, which was a pretty big departure from the original series.
