Damekko Doubutsu
Uruno is a lazy wolf wandering around looking for somewhere to settle down. He stumbles into a forest populated entirely by animals that completely fail at being what they're supposed to be—a smoking, temperamental rabbit named Usahara, a clumsy cheetah named Chiiko, a unicorn who's into sake, an eagle with terrible eyesight, an orca that can't swim, a shy pegasus, and plenty of other misfits. After almost fighting with Usahara, Uruno decides to leave. until he meets Chiiko and falls for her instantly. Even though he knows he's pretty hopeless, he sticks around, hoping he might actually have a shot with her someday. Whether he can survive living with all these weird forest residents long enough to make that happen is another question.
