Synopsis

Mio Hagiwara is a 14-year-old TV actress who's already built up a decent following. She crosses paths with Kumagai Ichiya on set, and he straight-up tells her that her acting sucks. It stings, but she can't stop thinking about him afterward. Turns out Ichiya is a talented young director—he's the one who made a music video for Mio's friend Aya Sawaki, an idol singer, and it was a hit. Now he's landed a movie to direct, and he wants Mio as the lead because he sees something special in her, calling her "handsome" like the classic film actresses. The real question is how Mio's going to handle these feelings she's developed for him.
