Toki no Daichi: Hana no Oukoku no Majo
Fourteen years ago, the world was overrun with demons unleashed by the evil dragon Diabolos. A seven-year-old boy named Zard stepped up and defeated him, earning the title of hero and bringing peace back to the world. But four years later, Diabolos came back. Zard went to fight him again—and never returned. Now, in the year 4996, Kai, Zard's closest friend, sets out to investigate whether Zard's dream of humans and demons coexisting peacefully could actually work. Along the way, he meets Izayoi, a strange kid with the ability to communicate with demons using his heart, and Gend, a dark-skinned swordfighter who appears to be one of the last Dark Elves. Kai starts to suspect that these two might be the answer to achieving human-demon coexistence. So he decides to travel with them.
