Synopsis

In this alternate history, Japan never faced the crisis of the Black Ships during the late Edo period—instead, a giant robot named Onigami that's existed since ancient times wiped them out. This allowed Japan to successfully keep foreign influence at bay. The story takes place in a version of Japan where the Meiji Restoration never happened in 1868. The series plays on a pretty absurd premise: the protagonist claims he can become the greatest man in the world specifically because he's a virgin.
