A portal to another dimension opened over the Sea of Japan years ago, releasing two massive beasts that destroyed everything in their path before turning on each other. Scientists Joe and Marie Hayakawa witnessed the chaos and got pulled through the rift themselves. When they made it back, they published their findings in a groundbreaking book called "Day of Succession." But when they attempted a second expedition twelve years later, they vanished. Their twins, Ai and Yu, decide to find their parents and the strange world they'd discovered. They head to an abandoned subway station where they board a mysterious train—and meet Lisa Pacifist, who volunteers to help them search. The question is whether these three can actually locate Joe and Marie in that other dimension.
