Synopsis

A weary warrior named Munsu collapses in the desert, half-dead from exhaustion. He's rescued by Mon-ryon, an ambitious young guy determined to become a secret agent for Jushin—a once-powerful nation now in ruins. Mon-ryon's mission is personal: save his girlfriend Chunhyan, a skilled fighter trapped by the tyrannical Lord Byonand. Before they can go anywhere, though, Mon-ryon gets ambushed by Sarinjas—vicious desert goblins with a taste for human flesh. Facing certain death, Munsu makes a deal: he'll hand over Mon-ryon's body in exchange for sparing his own life. Munsu keeps his word, but he doesn't abandon Mon-ryon's mission. Using his Angyo Onshi powers, he summons an army of ghost troops to storm Lord Byonand's fortress and free Chunhyan. After she pays her respects at Mon-ryon's grave, Chunhyan decides she's done grieving. She swears herself as Munsu's bodyguard, and the two team up to take down everyone responsible for destroying Jushin and everything it once stood for.
