Synopsis

Athanasia, the Obelian Empire's only legitimate princess, regains memories from a past life—and they show her something terrifying: a future where her father, Emperor Claude, kills her. He showers affection on her older sister Jennette, but treats Athanasia with complete indifference. Desperate to escape this fate, young Athanasia decides to leave the palace as soon as she's old enough and stay far away from Claude until then. But life doesn't cooperate. She crosses paths with her father years sooner than expected, and suddenly she's at his mercy. Except Claude isn't the cold, dismissive man from her visions. He actually seems to care about her. Now that her father treats her like family, Athanasia throws herself into becoming a proper crown princess—but she can't shake the feeling that her dark vision is still waiting for her somewhere down the line.
