Synopsis

In mid-21st century Tokyo, the underworld is controlled by Demon Lords—crime bosses who've undergone ether enhancement surgery to gain superhuman abilities. The only people equipped to fight them are Heroes: bounty hunters who use a drug called E3 to boost their own ether powers. It's legal killing for profit, so the job's less about justice and more about staying alive. Yashiro, called the Reaper, is a solo Hero who prefers working alone. That changes when Jougamine, a high school girl who decides she's his apprentice, barges into his life. He reluctantly takes her on, and suddenly finds himself dragged into a series of brutal conflicts he never asked for.
