Synopsis

After something devastating happens, Yabuki Joe hits rock bottom and loses all drive. He abandons boxing and starts drifting, trying to move past the trauma. During his travels, he meets Wolf Kanagushi and Goromaki Gondo—a couple of guys who unknowingly reignite his spark and convince him to stop wandering and head back home. Once he returns, Joe throws himself back into boxing with his trainer. But there's a problem nobody sees coming: he's dealing with serious psychological baggage that's sabotaging his ability to actually fight. To help him work through it, they bring in Carlos Rivera, a renowned boxer from Venezuela, to get Joe back on track.
