Synopsis

Marina, a mermaid, falls for Prince Justin after saving him from drowning during a chaotic encounter with a Cyclops and a three-headed sea serpent. To pursue a relationship, she strikes a deal with the sea witch Hedwig to become human—but it's temporary. Things get complicated when Justin mistakes Princess Cecily for his rescuer and proposes to her instead. By the time he remembers it was actually Marina who saved him, she's already transformed back into a mermaid. Stuck in their impossible situation, Marina and Justin keep sneaking around to see each other while juggling two major problems: Hedwig plotting to take over the kingdom, and Cecily pushing for the wedding. Their friends help however they can—Winnie the seahorse, Bobo the tropical fish, and Ridley the sea otter stick by Marina underwater, while the wizard Anselm and Justin's page Chauncey support him on land. Together, they all work to find a way for the two to actually be together.
