Synopsis

Dafeng saves Li Huamei from a poisoning plot when she's on death's door. He's heading to Kyoto anyway to reunite with his senior sister, so they end up traveling together. But things get complicated fast—Li Huamei discovers her own senior sister is Queen Qin Zhao, who's apparently trying to have her killed. Desperate to understand why, the two lean on each other and take on whoever comes at them. As they dig deeper, they stumble into something much bigger: political intrigue at court, conflict brewing in the martial world, and a conspiracy that goes way deeper than anyone realized. Turns out Dafeng holds the answers to everything.
