Synopsis

A Shang prince named Youshen Bupo saves Jiang Li, a disciple of the Taiyi Sect, and the two end up traveling together. As they make their way through the wilderness, they join a merchant caravan and get caught up in all kinds of chaos—heavenly tribulations, dangerous beasts, bandit attacks, rescuing people in need. Fate keeps throwing them together, and eventually they find themselves swept up in the larger conflict between the Xia and Shang dynasties.
