Synopsis

Eight years after his father's mysterious death, teenager Kaito Kuroba stumbles onto an incredible revelation: his dad was actually the Phantom Thief Kaito Kid, the legendary "Magician Under the Moonlight." A criminal organization killed him while hunting for the Pandora Gem, a mythical stone said to produce a tear whenever the Valley Comet passes through—which only happens once every ten thousand years. According to legend, consuming the tear grants immortality. Determined to avenge his father, Kaito takes on the Phantom Thief persona himself. He begins pulling off heists, stealing valuable jewels night after night in a race to locate the Pandora Gem before the organization can get their hands on it.
