It's 2089—80 years after Space War I brought humans and Zentraedi together. They've built an uneasy peace on Earth when a mysterious alien force called the Marduk suddenly shows up in the Solar System. SNN reporter Hibiki Kanzaki is on assignment covering the first clash between the U.N. Spacy and the Marduk when she stumbles across Ishtar, an "Emulator" whose singing amplifies the Marduk's combat abilities. Hibiki smuggles her back to Earth with the idea of showing her what human culture and values are really about. With help from hotshot Valkyrie pilot Silvie Gena, Hibiki and Ishtar have to figure out how to stop Ingues, the Marduk commander, from wiping out Earth.
