Orient: Awajishima Gekitou-hen
After Musashi saves Michiru Saruwatari from a demon, Kojirou Kanemaki learns that his father belonged to the Uesugi clan. Wanting answers about his own family history, Kojirou convinces his clansmen to join Uesugi's military campaign against Yamata no Orochi—a massive eight-headed dragon threatening to destroy Awaji Island and the surrounding region. Musashi goes along with the plan, but quickly realizes he's in over his head. Powerful demons far outclass him, and his inability to work with others becomes painfully obvious. He has to figure out how to actually cooperate with his new allies if he wants to survive. Complicating matters, the Obsidian Eight—fanatics hunting the Obsidian Goddess living inside Musashi—restart their pursuit. They're determined to sabotage the entire island operation to capture her. With multiple factions scheming against each other and everyone after the goddess, Musashi and his friends have to navigate the chaos and stop everyone else's plans from succeeding.
