Synopsis

Roku-gou works for the villainous Kisaragi Corporation and gets sent on a mission to help them conquer the universe. Specifically, he's supposed to infiltrate the kingdom of Grace—a move that could reshape the entire world. The problem? Roku-gou's convinced he's an amazing fighter, which makes him insufferably arrogant about the whole thing. To keep him from screwing up too badly, the company assigns Alice, a young-looking android named after Kisaragi itself, to tag along. When they reach the kingdom's border, they run into Snow, who commands the royal guard. Snow shows them a broken legendary artifact, and Roku-gou decides this is his ticket to a promotion. He tampers with the sacred ritual's recitation, replacing it with something humiliating. The princess isn't thrilled and punishes him by forcing him to become an honorary knight—which, hilariously, actually accomplishes his infiltration goal. Now that he's embedded in the kingdom's leadership, Roku-gou has to help defend against the Demon Lord's Army. All the while, he's still supposed to be doing shady work for Kisaragi. So he's basically juggling two conflicting jobs while pretending to be competent at either one.
