Every thousand years, the gods from every mythology—Greek, Norse, Hindu, and beyond—convene to decide humanity's fate. This time, they're unanimous: mankind is too selfish and corrupt to deserve existence. They vote to wipe everyone out. Then Brunhilde, one of the 13 Valkyries, crashes the meeting and demands they give humans a fighting chance. Her proposal? Ragnarök—a series of one-on-one battles between thirteen of history's greatest mortal warriors and thirteen gods. The gods think it's ridiculous at first, but Brunhilde uses their arrogance against them, essentially daring them to accept. They reluctantly agree. Now Brunhilde has to do the hard part: hunt down the thirteen mightiest heroes from across human history and train them to actually win before they all get killed.
