Monkey Magic / Adventure in Journey to the West

In the Toy World, a piece of stationery named Sun Wuyuan gets called defective by everyone around him. Determined to prove them wrong, he decides to find the Golden Staff and claim the title of Monkey King for himself. When he learns that the Crossing Hall leads to the West, he sneaks in at midnight and sets off on his journey. Wuyuan tracks down Sun Wukong on Mount Huaguo and agrees to train under him in exchange for the Golden Staff once he's done. Things fall apart when the Bull Demon King convinces Wuyuan that Wukong's been playing him the whole time. So Wuyuan steals the Golden Cudgel while Wukong's sleeping and takes off. But when the Bull Demon King seizes the staff for himself, Wuyuan makes it back to the Toy World only to find it's already been conquered. Now he needs to fix things. Teaming up with his friend Qiqi, Wuyuan heads back to the West to take down the Bull Demon King once and for all. They manage to defeat him, and Wukong agrees to let Wuyuan borrow the Golden Staff for a day.
