Just Because!
As the school year winds down, the third-year students are facing graduation—that big milestone looming ahead. There's Mio Natsume, stuck dealing with complicated feelings; Hazuki Morikawa, who's in the concert band but kind of keeps to herself; and Haruto Souma, a baseball player who's basically married to the sport. Meanwhile, second-year Ena Komiya is desperately trying to save the photography club from getting shut down. These four don't really have much connecting them, until a transfer student suddenly shows up and changes everything. Transferring this late in the year is weird for most people, but for Eita Izumi, it's just how life goes. His dad's job has kept him moving around constantly, never staying anywhere long enough to put down roots. Except this time, the move brings him back to his hometown for his final semester—which sounds like a fresh start, but it also means running into people and feelings he'd left behind. Eita's arrival throws everyone off just when they were trying to handle graduation stress on their own. Old memories surface, emotions that were buried start coming back up, and suddenly there are new things to care about. Their last semester becomes this mix of bittersweetness and intensity that nobody really saw coming.
