Synopsis

Shoma, a high school freshman, gets an unexpected message from his best friend Atsushi after what feels like forever. Atsushi wants him to check out this festival he found—says it'll be good to hang out again. So Shoma heads out to a remote mountain village for the Tanabata Nanayamatsuri festival, but when he gets there, Atsushi is nowhere to be found. Instead, he meets Shiori, a girl who's also looking for someone at the festival. As they navigate this strange gathering—supposedly a place where you can meet anyone you want—Shoma has to figure out if he'll actually reunite with Atsushi, or if something else entirely is going on.
