Synopsis

Subaru and Emilia's hopeful return to Irlam village turns to ash when they discover the devastation wrought by the Sin Archbishops. Subaru spirals—his power to redo the past suddenly feels useless against the scale of destruction. The group heads to the Sanctuary looking for answers, but Subaru runs into the Witch of Greed, Echidna, who drags him through visions of past and future. Meanwhile, mysterious forces close in on the Sanctuary itself, threatening everyone trapped inside. In the second season, old debts, forgotten sins, and impossible love interests collide in rivers of blood. With everything falling apart around him, how much longer can Subaru keep fighting to protect the people he cares about?
