Riki-Oh 2: Child of Destruction
Riki-Oh 2: Horobi no Ko
Child of Destruction picks up where the first Riki-Oh OVA left off, diving deeper into Riki's backstory. We learn what happened to his mother and discover that he was separated from his twin brother Nachi during a childhood game of hide-and-seek—a trauma that's haunted him ever since, especially Nachi's voice calling out "Are you ready yet?" There's also the mystery of their matching marks: Riki has a six-pointed star on his hand while Nachi bears a swastika, though the story never explains why. Riki ends up in the town of Misaki, which is basically run by a military organization called God's Judgment—a ruthless religious cult that's hiding illegal nuclear power plants throughout the area. He gets thrown in prison and forced into brutal gladiatorial fights in a massive arena. When he finally reunites with his brother, things get complicated. Nachi has developed special powers that earned him the title "Savior," but he's resentful and bitter, and their reunion quickly falls apart. The main difference from the first part? This one's a lot gorier. Riki stops holding back and just starts pulverizing his opponents with way more violence and brutality.
