In the fictional country of Vesparand, a newly discovered mineral with invisibility properties catches the attention of master thief Lupin III. Around the same time, the deaths of Queen Sakura and Prince Gill—which seem suspicious—leave Princess Mira as the next in line for the throne. When Mira travels to Japan, she spots her lookalike in Ran and decides to swap places with her. The plan goes sideways when Ran ends up getting taken to Vesparand alongside Conan, Kogoro Mouri, Zenigata, Lupin, and Fujiko. Once there, they reunite with Jigen and work together to uncover what really happened to the Queen and Prince.
