Kirari Tsukishima is a 14-year-old girl with one major obsession: food. She's gorgeous, but completely indifferent to idols and the entertainment world because honestly, she's too busy thinking about her next meal. Her food fixation also means she's totally clueless when it comes to romance. Everything changes when she rescues a turtle stuck in a tree and meets Seiji, a cute and genuinely nice guy who repays her kindness with a ticket to a SHIPS concert. Before she can even enjoy it, some random boy shows up, tears her ticket to shreds, and tells her to stay away from Seiji—warning that they live in "different worlds." Kirari's furious, but determined, she sneaks into the concert anyway. That's when the truth hits: both Seiji and the jerk who destroyed her ticket, a guy named Hiroto, are members of SHIPS. Suddenly the "different worlds" comment makes sense—Seiji's a famous idol and she's just an average middle schooler. But instead of backing down, Kirari doubles down. She decides right then and there that if that's what it takes to be with him, she'll become an idol herself.
