Synopsis

Chika Homura starts high school with one mission: become cute. She quits the volleyball team—where she was actually pretty good—to join the school's struggling Wind Instrument Club and pick up the flute, figuring it's the most delicate and feminine instrument out there. Reconnecting with her childhood friend Haruta Kamijou after nine years should've been perfect, except Haruta sees right through her act and isn't impressed. That doesn't stop Chika though. She develops a crush on the band instructor, Shinjirou Kusakabe. The problem? Haruta's got feelings for him too. Things get weirder from there. Mysteries start popping up around Chika and her friends, and the club ends up having to solve them while juggling their actual goal: recruiting enough members to actually compete in music competitions. Nothing's going smoothly, but at least they've got each other.
