Synopsis

Katsuhira Agata is a withdrawn teenager who's lost the ability to feel pain—and honestly, most emotions too. His childhood friend Chidori remembers who he used to be, but that person's long gone. Now Katsuhira's detached attitude makes him easy prey for bullies who shake him down for cash. Their punches barely get a reaction from him. Everything changes when Katsuhira, Chidori, and four other teens are kidnapped and forced into the Kizuna System as "Kiznaivers." The catch? They're all connected through pain. Injure one person, and everyone feels it equally. They've become test subjects for an experimental program supposedly designed to achieve world peace—and it's far from finished. With their suffering literally linked together, these six teens have no choice but to open up to each other and figure out what's really going on. If they don't, they're looking at a lot more than just a failed experiment.
