Synopsis

Hamtarou's a small, fluffy hamster—basically the definition of adorable. When his owner Hiroko, a fifth grader, moves to a new house, he stumbles upon a whole community of other hamsters and quickly befriends them. Together, they form a group calling themselves the Ham-Hams, and they're down for basically anything. While their owners are busy, the Ham-Hams explore the city and get into all sorts of wild adventures—catching plays, stumbling into magical candy lands, you name it. Their human owners are dealing with their own stuff too, but that's a separate story. Hamtarou encounters tons of different personalities, gets caught up in some pretty crazy situations, and regularly ends up helping Hiroko and her friends whether they know it or not. Through everything, he somehow manages to stay impossibly cute. Welcome to Hamtarou's world.
