Synopsis

Seishuu Handa is a talented young calligrapher with a lot going for him—good looks, skill, and plenty of awards. The problem? He's a total narcissist. When an established artist criticizes his work as unoriginal, Seishuu completely loses it, and the fallout is bad enough that his father decides drastic action is needed. As punishment and a forced wake-up call, Seishuu gets exiled to the remote Goto Islands. Goodbye Tokyo comfort, hello rural life. The plan is simple: find inspiration, develop an actual unique style, and maybe learn some humility along the way. Except nothing goes according to plan. Instead of peaceful countryside solitude, he gets relentless chaos—nosy kids (led by the mischievous Naru), gossip-obsessed middle schoolers, and meddling old men who treat his house like their personal hangout spot. The arrogant artist just wants to work, but his new community has other ideas. Whether he likes it or not, these wacky neighbors who can't mind their own business end up teaching him way more than he bargained for.
