Synopsis

Tenkai is a thriving bar and restaurant on a small European island run by an immigrant woman everyone calls Miss China. Upstairs, she rents space to Jim, a young inventor who works with Mr. Breckenridge in their makeshift lab. The two are convinced their experiments will change the world, even though the scientific establishment dismisses them. Problem is, they keep falling behind on rent, and Miss China's running out of patience. If they don't prove their work is worthwhile soon, they're getting thrown out.
