Synopsis

Jill Savelle, the "Lady Goddess of War" and fiancée to crown prince Gerald der Kratos, gets betrayed and framed as a traitor by the very country she devoted herself to protecting. Thrown in prison, she faces execution—but then she wakes up six years in the past. This time, she's determined not to be anyone's puppet. Back as a 10-year-old, Jill wants out of her engagement to Gerald. So she does something reckless: she jokingly confesses her love to Hadis Teos Rave, the 19-year-old dragon emperor who, according to her memories, will eventually go mad and drench the land in blood. Somehow, impossibly, he actually accepts. But here's the thing—the Hadis she remembers is nothing like the kind, genuinely decent man she encounters now. So Jill faces an impossible question: can she steer him away from his dark future, or is his descent into tyranny already written in stone?
