Synopsis

Kaoru Touno's life is a mess. His family's already fractured from his parents' divorce and a sibling's death, and things only get worse after he and his father have a huge fight. He storms out of the house and stumbles across a mysterious tunnel that seems to pull him inside. When he finally escapes, he's holding a bird that looks exactly like his old pet—the one that died. But here's the thing: he was only in there for a few minutes. Outside, a whole week has gone by. That's when he remembers the urban legend about Urashima Tunnel—supposedly it grants wishes, but it costs you your lifespan. And somehow, his dead bird is back. So Kaoru starts wondering if another trip through could actually fix his broken life. The next time he heads back to find the tunnel, he's not alone. Anzu Hanashiro, a new girl in his class, has followed him there. Turns out she knows about the rumors too, and she wants his help with some kind of experiment. She's got her own wish that only the tunnel can supposedly grant.
