In Neverland, humans and monsters coexist—though not always peacefully. Generation of Chaos follows two heroes, Chiffon and Roze, as their stories begin to unfold. Chiffon is a boy with the rare ability to train monsters, but his power is fading. He decides to journey to Hiyoko Forest to return his Hiyokomushi—a fish-like companion that's been by his side—to its birthplace. The trip doesn't go smoothly, though. As he travels, his control over his monster keeps slipping away. Roze, half-demon and half-human, has been living quietly with her sister Emilia, trying to blend in among humans. That all changes when she comes home one day to find her house burning. The loss shatters her hope for a peaceful life and forces her to confront an ugly truth: humans and demons aren't ready to coexist.
