Anhe is supposedly the world's most secretive assassination organization, controlled by three powerful families: Su, Xie, and Mu. When members of all three families are poisoned and their lives hang in the balance, the three forces see an opportunity and launch a rebellion. Su Muyu, who leads the Spider Shadow guard unit, brings in Bai Hehuai—a brilliant doctor from Medicine King Valley—to treat the poisoned elders while fending off assassins and protecting elder Zhouquan. Complicating matters, Su Muyu's friend Su Changhe, who works within Anhe, is secretly acting on behalf of the Su family in a plot to assassinate the patriarch.
