Synopsis

Socially awkward tech guy Manabu "Gaku" Taira gets rescued from some thugs by the charismatic Haru Tennouji, and they hit it off immediately. Flash forward a few years—Gaku's struggling to land a job because of his shyness, so Haru convinces him to interview at Dragon Bank, one of Japan's biggest IT companies, where Haru's already got an in. During the interview process, the company's board director Kirika Kokuryuu notices how well their opposite personalities complement each other. But Gaku doesn't get the job. Haru's so annoyed that he quits on his first day anyway. Instead of just moving on, the two decide to chase something way bigger: making a trillion dollars. They start hunting for investors to back their scheme, but everyone thinks it's insane and turns them down. Then, out of nowhere, Kirika comes through with an offer to invest. Suddenly, their crazy plan might actually be possible.
