Synopsis

Shugo and his twin sister Rena win rare legendary characters in an event run by the creators of the MMORPG "The World"—Kite and Black Rose. They dive into the game and start running quests and events with their new crew: Ouka, Mirelle, Hotaru, and Sanjuro. But then things get weird. Strange monsters start showing up, and if they kill you in the game, you slip into a coma in real life. Somehow Shugo and Rena are the only ones who can stop it. The question is: why are they being targeted in the first place, and what is the game actually hiding?
